Congratulations to the 1200 & 1300 Blocks of William Street!
At the beginning of the Summer, our real estate team started a promotion for South Baltimore where we would provide a $1,000 grant to one lucky block to help them have cafe lights strung in front of their homes. Our team loves how the cafe lights look in the community and knew this promotion would help foster better relationships among neighbors and provide an extra bit of security to the residents. At best, we were hoping to have a couple of blocks apply, but we were pleasantly surprised to have 8 separate applications with a total of 126 residents asking to participate. While we could not personally support the other applicants, we decided to work with our partners in the community to sponsor additional smaller grants for the other applicants. Grants of $250 or more were provided by Upper Chesapeake Insurance Agency; Stephen J. Tant Plumbing; Broadview Title; Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (Federal Hill); WireWorx Electric, Inc.; and Carin Ganjon, another agent at Cummings & Co. Realtors.
We can’t wait to see all of these café lights throughout South Baltimore.
